Our aim
We want everyone to be able to use this website. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and we apply several stricter level AAA measures where they suit the content.
What we have done
Every page has one main heading, a logical heading structure, labelled landmarks and a skip link. All functions work with a keyboard, with visible focus that is never hidden behind the page header. Text and interface elements meet at least AA contrast, and body text meets the stricter 7:1 level, in both the light and the dark theme. The layout reflows down to 320 pixels wide without horizontal scrolling and holds up when text size or text spacing is increased. Animation is limited to scroll-driven effects, respects the reduced motion setting of your operating system, and the moving list of technologies can be paused. Form fields have visible labels, errors are described in text and announced, and every page sets the correct language, English or Greek.
How we checked
We tested every page in both languages and both themes with the axe-core automated checker, measured colour contrast, and tested keyboard navigation, reflow, text resizing, text spacing and use with scripts disabled. We have not yet commissioned an independent accessibility audit or testing with screen reader users.
Known limitations
The layered drawings are decorative and are hidden from assistive technology on purpose. Authors of blog articles should add descriptive text to any images they include. Content on other websites that we link to, such as Instagram, is outside our control.
